The coronavirus pandemic continues to impact the city of Lincoln, Nebraska, as people struggle to deal with the effects of COVID-19. Many people are struggling with grief from losing family and friends, while others face difficult decisions of reopening their businesses or not. Schools have been cancelled, jobs have been lost, but people still continue to share kindness and spread positivity in the places that they can. While in quarantine, many people have spent more time with their families, picked up new hobbies, or in a sense have "reset" themselves and are viewing the quarantine as a forced sabbatical. The coronavirus has affected everyone in different ways, but I believe there still remains a hope that we will overcome this. These photos were taken around downtown Lincoln, Nebraska, in an effort to show how the coronavirus pandemic has affected one of Nebraska's capital city.
